Post compeition is the BEST.  While many people absolutely hate the post competition time, I thrive on it.  For the 1st week afterwards, the relief of having the show over and done with is immense, but the tiredness that hits me the day after a competition is overwhelming. Jesus all I want to do is sleep.  The freedom of not having to think "competition" every minute of the day, every day of the week is a huge relief and it is back to enjoying life.

  I do love competing though,  it is my most favourite personal challenge and I give 100% to it. I thought long and hard about competing in the Nationals and going on to the NABBA/WFF worlds but decided to focus on work and building my business - stress free if there is such a thing.  So for now  I can get down and focus on work along with other jobs which suffer owing to a serious lack of time and energy while in training for a contest.  

Post competiton,  the food is awesome!!! I appreciate having some good food and good wine, or even bad wine is fine with me when I' desparate.  But really,  just having sauce on my chicken or a cup of tea with milk is devine or extra oats or kumara when i feel like it.  But basically my food is pretty much the same but I have larger portions. 

Training wise, since  the comp I have been training as normal - not as hard obviously but still training.. I had 2-3 days off after the competition which was heavenly. Had abit of a sleep in each morning as I didnt have 6am clients that week so it was abit like a being on holiday. But after 3 days off weights,  I then got back into 5 mornings a week training again with my mate Neville.  Neville does way more sets than me at present which is good with me as Im being abit lazier  but he is wanting to compete next year so he needs to grow.. See Im telling the whole world Neville Marshall and you cant back down now.  Anyway we have lots of  laughs and its all very good.  No pressure!  Today I brought in high steps-ups with dumbells inbetween our hack squats which was hard out.  I consider myself fit since I can run for an hour or so easily but the step ups COMBO had me puffing and panting - not in a rude way but in an unhealthy way lol.   

Now I think I may of told you that I did a photo shoot with Photoshoot and it was awesome.. I had the gorgeous Nadia Marsh help me with it who had just come back from Italy. She was my helper with everything..  The poor thing had to paint me silver - all over -  for the shoot. and she was very good at it - I think she had created funny silver people before but woudnt admit it to me.  So if you ever need anybody to paint the inside of your ears or other places,  I have the girl for you. Rosemary will vouce for that. 

Anyway  the photos turned out amazing thanks to Peter, Rosemary and Nadia.  We have released a couple of them but we have at least 1 dozen of very good ones that I'm keeping for a special occasion like my eulogy or something.  Actually I have better ideas for them well before that time,  but in the meantime here are some of the funny pictures from the shoot.

When I dreamed up my Silver Photos shoot, I never ever dreamed that I would be a candidate for the "New Mrs Worzel Gummidge".  We look so alike it is uncanny cept he thinks I'm silver!!!!   Now thats a problem.   Apparently Worzel found my picture on the internet when searched for somebody with similar features to him so we get babies almost identical to us , then he wrote to me and we have began internet romancing ever since...  He has asked me to webcam with him but I have been putting him off cos Im waiting for my new paint to arrive. 

As you can see in Worzel loves birds so Peter tried to create a pic to show Worzel that I love birds almost as much as he does. I shall let you know how all this developes lol.
