Contest "Gorgeousness"

Not only are these two clients dialed in for the 2014 NABBA Counties Manukau 4th May at Papakura, but they are displaying absolute "Gorgeousness" and "exceptional talent" for our sport of Bodybuilding and Figure. These outstanding photos were taken at Wolfs Gym, Henderson on Monday 2th April when Nicola Gray and Jinna Griffin were into their second day of decarbing.
The photography by Peter and Rosemary Morris, shows two athletes showing no signs of excess dieting, and they are how I love my clients to look - lean and healthy but incredible shape. The girls hair was styled by Neville Marshall and the bodies styled by themselves under the guidance of me.. Arent I the lucky one?
These two girls have been amazing. They have done what I asked of them no questions - well maybe a few questions, but they pressed on and did everything they could to bring their bodies into the best condition they could. I have loved training these two girls and I cant stres enough it has been a pleasure to see them grow as athletes. At times they should of been crying, but they always kept a happy smile on their faces. They both have a lot on their plates. Nicola has just started a new job this week, yep talk about bad timing Nic. Just in time for decarbing she started a new job but she handled the week well and she is also a PT at Les Mills City. And Jinna, well she is juggling a pt course, night work and part time personal training at Wolfs Gym Wairau Park.
I have known Nicola for what seems a lifetime, and you all know how long my lifetime is. I knew her back in my World Gym days when Nicola was only 19 years old and she did her first competition under the guidance of Mike Debenham. She was in wicked condition and of course won. It has been 10 years since she last stepped on stage and I cannot wait to see her. She seems to pose softly and effortlessy but everything POPS. People cannot help but fall in love with Nic. Gosh I love her physique. Full muscle bellies and her hamstrings just seemed to hang of the back of her legs, in a good way. Her abs are wicked as is her whole physique. Nicola has two children, one very supportive husband and is sponsored by Top Mark Nutrition who have helped her with all of her supplementation. Her contest bikini is designed and made by bodybuildingbikinis.com and Nicolas posing routine was designed by another client and amazingly successful athlete of mine Linda Hickin. What an incredible team effort for team Nicola.
Now Team Jinna. If you were to first see Jinna you would be scared of her. I was terrified.. This little girl with the "ink" and her obsession with chains came to Wolfs and I was lucky enough to be asked to train her. Jinna is gorgeous, she is a little softy, but she is tough. This girl, who had never trained before in her lift before the last week of October 2014 was a beginner. Her first programme with me was a 2 day split since she knew nothing but she was tired of it after the first week. This girl wanted a 5 day split straight away but I made her wait, making sure she knew the exercises before she moved on. I saw in the first few weeks that Jinna was gifted. She was a construction worker at the time.. Shit she was tough. It has only been 5 months since Jinna started training with me and she has gained 5.3kg of muscle and lost 7.4kgs of fat and Im hoping she will let me post her before photos up her to show you later next week. What an amazing transformation. Jinna didnt used to eat. Getting her to eat 5-6 meals per day was easy cos she did as she was told. She didnt like it but she did it and she was amazed at how her body reacted to eating and training. She is blessed with the physique and the mental ability and she has a very different look and attitude compared to the average competition girl. Both of these girls are so awesome. They were a gift sent to me which I am so grateful for. We three have a healthy respect for each other and I will be there for them always to help them achieve their dreams.
