30 days of Gorgeousness - Kirsty McKelvie

If you have ever been to shop at Nutrition Plus Takapuna then you would most likely of been served by Kirsty and gained some valuable information on the products you are inquiring about. Kirsty's been working for Peter Hardwick for a long time now so her knowledge is brilliant. Shes definately helpful to me when I flick her a quick text asking what is the most popullar Thermogenic of the moment or if I need the breakdown of protein bars etc. I you havent seen her at the store then you would certainly of seen Kirsty on the NABBA stage presenting the Trophies or running around being Peter's "right hand man". Kirsty is a very elegant chick, always wearing the 4" heels and the tight dresses on stage and everybody loves her. I dont know how she manages to skate around the stage on those heels without ever entertaining the spectactors with at least one head over heels but she does and she seems to do it effortlessly. I have been friends with Kirsty for a long time now. She started with me as a client in 2009 and we have been best friends ever since. The texts we flick through to each other are definately entertaining if anybody every got to read our communcations. We both love shopping, and - well mostly shopping actually. She gets me into a fix alot by sending me constant links to shoe or lingerie sites. Most of the time I will be working with a client and get so frustrated by the gorgeous pics she sends. I normally have to wait for hours to view them - thats torture! I think we should of opened our own store a long time ago and just lived happily for the rest of our lives buying for ourselves.
Most people would be aware that Kirsty competed back in 2010. We went down to Chch for one event and had an absolute ball. But we have never gotten her to compete again since - one day Kirsty McKelvie! But she has never stopped training and is always up at 5.00 getting her cardio done and always practices what she preaches.
One thing I got her to do with Kirsty was an amazing photo shoot with Peter and Rosemary Morris - top NZ Physique althete photographers. The photos were incredible and one of my favourite set was "Kirsty in Fur". This was one outfit that Kirsty and I shared between us and we often joke about wearing the fur again. Kirsty has a deep love for weight training and cardio. I dont think she has the desire to compete again but she definately keeps her interest up with chatting and supporting all the athletes struggling with diet dilemmas and different problems when they go into the store.
Kirsty is Scottish and has a strong accent. I still hear people say they cant quite get the gasp of her words so as long as they dont just nod their heads in agreement in the store as they might end of with 6 products in their shopping bag instead of one. Kirsty's most commom phrase is "Oh Aye". So I know when I finally ask her to wear the "Fur" again or ask her to compete , that is what I will hear from that Scottish mouth. Love you Kirsty
