LATEST NEWS:
Marc & I are so excited to now be working together from
Fit Factory GlenEden
It has been a very long time since I last blogged on my website. In fact, it has been about 15 months since my last post, which is what happens when you get addicted to TikTok & Inst stories rather than writing words. Its obvioiusly so much quicker to post a story or 2 but really, it feels so good to be writing some substantial text for a change rather. Ivw also been spending alot of time on creating gorgeous furniture that needs recyling. So my time is torn between training woman and painting furniture for them as well.
On the TicTok subject, I actually reached 10K followers this month, when my goal was 1K so thats not bad considering I dont really do alot on it except random posing vids & the odd training vid. In saying that I just noticed I have 178 clips in my drafts so I guess I have been doing more than I thought I had lol.
The middle pic shows my most popular video, with 63.k views, 61 shares2600 likes. Some others have 57k, 44k and 37k

Whats been happening lately?
Well in November 2019 we left Wolfs Gym after I had been there for approximately 10 years. It was a decision I made after realising I would soon be turning 60 years old and I wanted a change, so we moved out to Volition Gyn, GlenEden also moved into a new apartment also.
After August 2021 Lockdown, I decided I did not want to go back to that gym. So I started running bootcamps for ladies so it was fantastic over the summer season. The bootcamps were awesome & I loved them as much as the ladies did. We had so fun while working hard but the best thing was seeing the girls get fitter. They were always up for a challenge no matter what I threw at them.
I never thought I would be a bootcamp instructor after 30 years in the fitness industry but these girls were awesome & I absolutley loved out sessions together. They kept us all sane, & fit in the process
I eventually moved the group to home and we used the park, the steep hill on our street, and of course our home gym.WE had crazy workoutsbut once the wet weather began I was restricted to taking only 4 clients at one time.
Moving on, Marc had left the gym we were both at and started at Fit Factory Gleneden who offered better space to work in, and more opportunity to be involved as a valuable team member. At the time he began there, I was adament that I would not go back to working in a gym again but within a couple of weeks of me going there to do my own training, I flicked the Manager a message saying, 'Hey I really want to work at Fit Factory", so here I am, here WE are all set up and loving the enviroment we are in. It is warm, it is meticiously clean, and so very welcoming.
So along with doing TicTok in my spare time, I have been upcycling furniture, and decorating plant pots as a hobby. Basically I started painting the odd bit of furniture 2.5 years ago and found that I absolutly love it. Ive always been abit crafty but upcycling has really taken hold of me. I love it and would do anythng to be at home, doing my thing, turning something not so pretty into something amazing. For now I think of my work as practice, as I know that when I retire from the fitness industry, this is what I will be doing full time.
Will post an update again over the weekend so catch you up on some things. Luf & Muscles, Jo
